Rooted Series

Our goal for this experience is for you to deepen your connection with God, His church, and your purpose in the epic story He is writing through human history. Rooted is a catalyst for life change. Rooted provokes questions, conversations, and beyond-what-is comfortable group experiences that are designed to help you find yourself in God’s story. You will begin to see God in new ways and hear His voice in surprising places. In a world that can be fragmented, isolated, and empty, Rooted allows you to experience a different way of life: community, intimacy, and generosity. Through this experience we hope you will be emboldened to live out your calling as a radical follower of Jesus.

Join us each Sunday at 9:00 or 10:15am at Celebration Cinema in Mt Pleasant!

ROOTED - Week 1: What Is Rooted?
Jason Raitz, October 6th, 2019

By the end of Rooted, you will be emboldened to live out your calling as a radical follower of Jesus. We do this by rooting ourselves in God's word and His truths. On this we build a firm foundation on which we love the world. Rooted was created to be, "an experience that bridged the disparity between what we say we believe and how we live." When we root ourselves in God's word and truths and build our lives on that foundation, it can dramatically change the way we see and choose to love the world. If you show up with an open heart, this series will help take you into the next steps of your faith and find personal ownership in your walk with Jesus.

ROOTED - Week 2: Who Is God?
Jason Raitz, October 6th, 2019

God's story begins with "loving, incredibly powerful, and majestic Creator who personally designs a universe to reflect His glory." God is fully complete without us, yet he desires to be in relationship with us. However, God also gifted us with freedom through the power of free will, and the decisions made by both and Adam and Eve opened the world to darkness. The greatest news that there could ever possibly be comes into play as God chose for His story not to end there. Jesus died to take the wages of sin and death that we deserved upon himself. You can accept Jesus's sacrifice on your behalf now by committing to follow Jesus today.
